My name is Angie Jones and I am the 3rd Grade teacher at BES.  I have a Master's Degree in Elementary Education, which I received from the University of North Alabama in Florence. I am married to Fred Jones and have two children:  Freddie and Amelia.  My son graduated from Brilliant High School and my daughter is a Sophomore at BHS.

I am a member of the Winfield Freewill Baptist Church where my husband and I team-teach the Teen's Sunday School Class.  I thoroughly enjoy teaching, and I have a genuine desire to see children flourish.  I will strive to work with your child on a small group and an individual basis as much as necessary.

Each Monday, your child will receive a Take a Peek.....At Our Week.  Vocabulary and Spelling Words, as well as Test and Projects will be on this paper.  Your child is expected to spend an average of 30-45 minutes on homework each night.  Homework assignments are written on the back of your child's Take a Peek.

It is vital that your child know simple addition and subtraction facts.  Flash cards may be used to help with this.  We are learning our multiplication facts and plan to have them memorized by the end of November.
